Located in one of the shadier corners of Nova City, this establishment was formerly a nightclub known as Iron Faeries. Following two bounty hunts that took place in the establishment, it found itself wrecked and on hard times. This club would then later be taken over by Gale Reinhardt and Ivina Darcann, and remodeled into After Life.
The interior walls, ceiling and floors of the establishment look as if they were carved out of crystal, giving off a faint, prismatic glow that only helps enhance the black lights and strobe lighting of the club. The tables and bar counters are made of thick, purple tinted glass with brilliant, ornate gold glass framing the edges. Translucent glass pillars are dotted throughout the club, and house colorful wisps of light that move throughout the pillars.
Light any good nightclub, it has a wide dance floor and stage. The stage has a few poles for dancers to show off, be them hired dancers or just patrons wanting to have a bit of extra fun in their dance routines. The circular bar is located between the entrance and the dance floor. A balcony overlooks the club, where the owners are often found simply observing, and the only way to access the balcony is through a staircase that only they know the location of. A VIP room is located in the back of the club for particular patrons, a more quiet area for more private dealings and the occasional gambling session.
The club itself is open 24 hours and all ages are permitted from 8 AM to 2 AM. After 2 AM, the club has an 18+ only policy, for more risque performances on stage. Despite the age policy after 2, nudity and sexual activity are still prohibited and are grounds to be thrown out of the club.Possibly without clothes if for the former reason.
On Fridays, 2 AM to 8 AM is dubbed "Sinner's Night" and in addition to striptease performances, stronger alcoholic drinks also become available. Two special drinks are available at this time:
-> Zero Pulse: A strong liquor from Ivina's home of Salimdor. Discretion is highly advised when ordering this drink, as it can easily kill someone or put them in a coma should they consume too much of it. The club is not responsible should someidiot patron decide to test their limits with this particular drink. [Note: This will only be available after the Salimdor subarchway is open]
-> Prism: A special drink mixed by Ivina herself, using her skills in alchemy. Drinking it gives the consumer psychedelic hallucinations. The drink's appearance lives up to its name.
While After Life has a better reputation than Iron Faeries did, it still may have a draw for shadier characters, and the club takes no responsibility for any shady deals and discussions made in the booths. Gale also encourages the draw of bounty hunters and mercenaries as a central meeting place, for jobs or for leisure.
The club always looks to hire dancers, performers, bouncers, bartenders and VIP room hostesses. Food and drink are half off the regular price for employees. Staff are easily identified by their purple butterfly pins.
